Publisher review:jsView is an image display applet. jsView is an image display applet -- but unlike most such tools, it is controlled almost entirely from a JavaScript function, rather than through the usual host of HTML parameters. This gives designers considerable flexibility, as you'll see in the demos provided. Each image, as well as its link and target, are set directly from the jsView applet's jsviewDo() function. Additionally, because images are loaded dynamically, there is no practical limit to how many images can be used. This also means that, with prudent choice of the first image, the time required for the applet to load and start can be extremely small... eliminating long waits typical of such applets. jsView also has a (positionable) loading meter that actually works, so even with very large images, the visitor doesn't assume a stalled applet. An optional parameter can be set to "autosize" your images, as well.
